Data protection rights

This page explains how individuals can exercise privacy and data protection rights in connection with Tecunit Ghana and the SMSLogicpro platform. It supplements our Privacy Policy and does not replace legal advice.

Your rights (where applicable)

You may have some or all of the following rights under applicable data protection law:

Access — request a copy of personal information we hold about you.
Rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Erasure — request deletion where there is no overriding legitimate ground to continue processing.
Restriction — request that we limit processing in defined circumstances.
Portability — receive certain data in a structured, machine-readable format where technically feasible.
Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing, where the law allows.
Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.

How to submit a request

Email

Send a message to support@tecunitgh.com with the subject line “Data protection request”. Include your full name, the email associated with your account (if any), your school name (if applicable), and a clear description of the right you wish to exercise.

Verification

To protect privacy, we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We may decline manifestly unfounded or excessive requests, or charge a reasonable fee where permitted by law.

Response times

We aim to acknowledge requests within a few business days and respond within one month, unless complexity requires an extension (in which case we will explain why and indicate the expected date).

Complaints to a regulator

If you believe your rights have been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Ghana, this is typically the Data Protection Commission; other jurisdictions have equivalent bodies.

Marketing preferences

Where we send optional marketing, you can opt out using the unsubscribe link in emails or by writing to the address above. Service and security messages may continue where necessary to operate your account.
