This Privacy Policy describes how Tecunit Ghana (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles personal information when you visit our website, create an account, or use SMSLogicpro and related services on behalf of a school. By using our services, you acknowledge this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Depending on your jurisdiction, we rely on appropriate bases such as performance of a contract, legitimate interests (for example securing the platform and measuring aggregate reliability), consent where required (such as certain marketing cookies or optional features), and legal obligation.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with subprocessors strictly as needed to operate the service — for example cloud hosting, email delivery, payment gateways, and error monitoring. Subprocessors are bound by contractual confidentiality and security obligations. A school may also configure integrations; those providers process data under the school’s relationship with them.
We implement administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect data in transit and at rest, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, and least-privilege engineering practices. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; we work continuously to reduce risk.
We retain information for as long as your account or school subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements. Schools may have additional policies for how long they keep certain pupil or employment records inside the product.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to data portability. Schools often control pupil and staff directory data; where that applies, we may direct requests to your school administrator. See also our Data protection rights page.
Data may be processed in Ghana and in other countries where our infrastructure or subprocessors operate. Where transfers require safeguards, we use appropriate mechanisms such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent protections as required by law.
The service is intended for use by schools and adults acting in an educational or employment capacity. Schools are responsible for obtaining any necessary parental consent for pupil data and for using age-appropriate features.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and adjust the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the product or by email where appropriate.
